The reaction of chlorobridged anhydride and epoxy resin can obtain a light-colored cured product with excellent electrical and physical properties. It can be used in flame retardant and heat resistant laminates, castings and other applications. Chloride anhydride is different from ordinary anhydrides. When used as a curing agent, it is not necessary to add a curing accelerator. The amount depends on the epoxy equivalent in the resin.
